FX Arrest: extinguish and treat with a single agent
FX Arrest is a water-based extinguishing agent developed for fires that are difficult to control, in particular lithium-ion battery fires. The identified use stated in the safety data sheet is “Fire Arrestor and Bio-Catalytic Treatment of Petroleum Hydrocarbons”.
Extinguishing and cooling
Reduces fire intensity immediately after application and cools the affected cells. The product itself does not burn and does not support combustion.
Bio-catalytic treatment
More than 89 % yeast extract as a biological base, under 11 % non-ionic surfactants. Extinguishing and subsequent treatment of hydrocarbon residues with one single product.
Handling without dangerous-goods effort
Not classified as a hazardous substance under CLP and not subject to transport classification under ADR, RID, IMDG, IATA and ADN. This lowers transport, storage and training effort.

Normative evidence, for example to EN 1568, has to be provided on a site-specific basis. The currently valid safety data sheet, which we will send you on request, always takes precedence for classification, storage and application.
